Session Description: DEIB is a very hot button issue. In today's climate, it's easy for companies to just abandon it. But is that the best move? This presentation will discuss the data behind DEIB, the business benefits of it, why it's still important, and ways to implement it properly.
Speaker Bio: Chris Ady has 15 years of experience working with the Stark County community in various capacities. He started out working with juvenile males in addiction rehab and recovery. He then moved into the field of assisting adults with physical and developmental disabilities in finding and maintaining employment in the community. He has spent the last 7 years in Training and Development and is currently the Training and Development Supervisor with Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland and East Central Ohio. He currently sits on Stark County Human Resource Association's DEI Committee and is passionate about ensuring people from all backgrounds are given opportunities to succeed, be included, and belong in the workplace.
